In Flåm and Askvoll we let out both double and single kayaks.

Please be aware that we do not rent out single kayaks to solo paddlers, and only to experienced kayakers with certified rescue skills (NPF, BCU, ACA or other recognized Kayaking Association). Double kayaks are more stabile and more suitable for less experienced paddlers. All rentals of doubles will include a safety skills instruction that will be given on land.

If you do not have the above-mentioned qualifications we can present you with a 5 hour safety & rescue course. Upon completing this course you will aquire the internationally recognised Våttkort qualification from the Norwegian Canoe Association (NPF), minimum 3 persons on the course.

All rentals includes kayak, paddle, paddle vest, paddle float, sprayskirt and a small map of the area. We also have additional equipment for rental. This includes wetsuit % shoes, tents, cookers, dromedary waterbags, cameraboxes, wetsuits, paddle jackets, dry bags etc. Please contact us for prices.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off in Gudvangen

Going on your own on the famous Flåm – Gudvangen trip? Well, then the logistics can be a challenge. We can pick up/drop off you and your kayaks in Gudvangen before or after your kayak trip. Only NOK 550,- per pick up/drop off.
